Ian entered the world of property following a ten-year career in the British Army, during which he achieved the rank of Major. The values and disciplines learned in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces have proven invaluable, and remain the foundation for Ian’s business ethos.

Working in hostile environments and commanding large numbers of soldiers lends well to running developments. One specific role Ian had was within the Army’s HQ, coordinating the participation of military forces in civil strategic emergency / crisis management operations, including disaster relief and counter terrorism in the UK. The lessons learnt with regards to forward planning, business continuity and the mitigation of risk have all served well in dealing with residential developments.
